Swim England National Summer Meet 2025

29th July-3rd August - Ponds Forge, Sheffield

Swim England National Summer Meet is Swim England’s biggest domestic swimming event of the year.

The Summer Meet forms part of a swimming competition structure in Great Britain whereby the top ranked swimmers are invited to compete at the British Swimming Summer Championships.

The next ranked swimmers at Swim England affiliated clubs – or those who have chosen to be ranked as an English swimmer – are invited to compete at the Nationals.

The rankings are on swimmers’ performances at level 1 meets between a qualification window, typically between March and May of the same calendar year.

This year, Wrekin Swimming Club proudly had three talented athletes qualify for the final event of the swimming season: Beth, Dylan, and Esmay. For Dylan and Esmay, it marked their first time qualifying for this elite competition — and they certainly made their mark!

This year's County Championships was spread over five full days of swimming on consecutive weekends, making it a tough long three weekends for swimmer, parents, volunteers and coaches alike.
